"Sexiness is not all about wearing scanty clothing."

23-year-old Taiwanese singer Genie Zhuo endorses the above statement. "To me, sexiness is a 'feel'. It's not about dressing skimpily or having that perfect body curves. I can be sexy in a suit too; Sexiness is a portrayal," Genie explained.

In her latest album "My Favourite Kind of Geniie", Genie transformed from a sweet little girl to a sexy young woman. This is the first time that Genie is trying out the sexy vibe and is a breakthrough for her; she revealed to have spent time and effort convincing herself to try out the new look. Fans who have watched her grown throughout the years would have noticed the great difference and seen how Genie has metamorphosed.

To better portray the sexy look, Genie took special care of her legs, by applying moisturizer diligently everyday, to make them look good. Her efforts paid off when her legs became the hottest topic of discussion after the album was released. However, Genie admitted to have felt more comfortable in her previous 'sweet and cute' image.

Genie entered the industry at the age of 12 after clinching the champion title in a singing competition and released her debut album when she was 15. The latest album, also her fourth, is a reflection of her past and also marks her transformation from a girl to a young woman.

"I liked to change the clothes for Barbie! Changing pretty clothes for her makes me happy too. But I only played with Barbie dolls when I was a kid; I would even talk to the dolls, "Genie disclosed.

"It symbolises purity, cleanliness and it makes me feel at ease."

Favourite weather: Cloudy days

"I like to go out on cloudy days. I don't like sunny days as my skin gets tanned very easily."

Favourite item: Mobile phone

"The mobile phone gives me a sense of security. It is handy and convenient as I can make calls and also check the time."

Favourite friend: Joanne Tseng (more affectionately known as Qiao Qiao) from Taiwanese girl band "Sweety".

Favourite guy friend: Chang Chen-Yue

Genie pondered for quite some time before answering the question. "Because we sang a duet in my latest album," Genie exclaimed.
