Gigi Lai Chi and Eddie Kwan Lai Kit were filming "Jewel's Splendor" in Mongkok at midnight last night.

Despite the cold weather, they had to film 2 rain scenes. For the scene, Gigi sat inside the car, while Eddie hand to stand outside and talk to her. Eddie suffered in the pouring rain while Gigi wiped his face with a tissue.

Completely soaked in his clothes, Eddie Kwan was shivering in the cold night. After each take, his assistant would change his jacket to maintain warmth.

However Eddie still had to hold on to heat packets in order to keep his hands warm. His assistant also went to buy him a cup of hot soybean drink.

Although staying inside the car for the scene, Gigi was also cold and wore a sweater in-between takes.

The filming occured on a busy street and many cars stopped by to observe the activity. Several dozen pedestrians stopped to watch and before long, a traffic jam situation resulted. A police officer stepped in to redirect the vehicles.
