Jimmy Lin joined China F1 Powerboat Racing Team. Will train in France and UK for 1 year

Jimmy Lin joined the China TianRong F1 Powerboat Zhao Shang Bank Team and announced that he has formally ventured into the F1 arena. From a car racer to a powerboat racer he will be able to stir up a “little whirlwind” in powerboat racing. He is the first in showbiz who has this honor and also the first Chinese racer from Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Jimmy loves water sports and is very interested in F1 Powerboat racing. On the day of the signing ceremony he was sick with a bad cold and yet he wanted to get in the water with his coach. Afterwards, jimmy said it was exciting and wanted to operator it himself. He was immediately stopped by his manager. Jimmy said, “This is a nod of approval to me. It’s hard to nurture a powerboat racer. A powerboat costs rmb15M. Safety equipments cost rmb2M. Racers are trained in France and the UK for about 1 year.
