But Brad Pitt has confessed he sometimes resorts to desperate measures when he attempts to wake up his brood in the mornings – forcing them to drink Coca Cola for breakfast.
The Moneyball star said revealed he uses it as a sweetener for getting out of bed when he is rush to get them out of the door.
He said: ‘Listen, I admit there’s times like, “We gotta get up. Get up! Here’s your shoes. Here’s your shoes.”
‘”Drink this Coke. Drink this Coca Cola. Drink it all. Right now! Drink it! Drink it! Drink it!” Just so we could get ‘em up and going.’

"Like so many of you here, I have not seen 'Tree of Life' yet but I hear we are really good," he joked. "But this is especially sweet beacaue both of these films were arduous labors of love and if it wasn't for the dedication of a few brave souls, they could have easily fallen into that black hole of great projects that never worked."

He gave nods to "[Producer] Amy Pascal, Sean Penn, Seymour Hoffman and my lover Jonah Hill, and Jessica Chastain, whom you have honored here tonight. Seven films this year and five next year. Usually an actress has to work in the porn industry to have that kind of success. It's impressive."

Brad Pitt has completely fallen for his Christmas present from Angelina Jolie - a waterfall in California. A thrilled Pitt is now planning to embark on an ambitious and exotic building project emulating the design of Lloyd Wright's 1939 masterpiece Fallingwater, which was built in Pennsylvania on a similar piece of land. The pair visited the house in 2006.

"Brad has always loved Fallingwater and his first trip there was unforgettable," says a friend. "Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect. She hopes this will be a hideaway for the family. Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house. Brad has always wanted to design his own house. He wants to pull all aspects of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept. This is the present to top all presents."

TARA BROWN: If Brad Pitt wants us to be surprised, then he’s left the best, and for his fans, the worst, til last. At the height of his fame and game, he’s preparing to turn his back on acting. How much longer would you like to do your business for?

BRAD: Three years.

TARA BROWN: Three years?

BRAD: Yeah.

TARA BROWN: And then what happens after three years?

BRAD: Hell if I know. Hell if I know. I am really enjoying the producing side and development of stories and putting those pieces together. And getting stories to the plate that might have had a tougher time otherwise, so...You know, I have gotten away with a few things in writing and I have been pissed off about a few things. How’s that?

“I spent the ’90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony,” he admits. “I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself.”
“I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”

And, yes, his 42-year-old ex-wife got wind of the catty comment. “She was annoyed,” a pal (said). “She thought it was rude and inappropriate.”
Team Aniston — her agent and publicists — “went ballistic” and angrily reached out to Pitt’s camp.
“They got his team involved and Brad was read the riot act.”
Within 24 hours, Pitt had surprisingly released a statement lamenting that his words were misinterpreted, and that his former love “is an incredibly giving, loving and hilarious woman.”
Still, the Pitt source says, “no one believes his words were taken out of context — he said what he said. I do hear that he’s remorseful.”
And although Pitt is clearly blissed out with Jolie, 36, and their six kids, “We think he’s jealous she’s in love,” the source says.
